CHANDER S. MAHABIR is an
associate
and consultant of Sjiem Fat & Mahabir.
Mr. Mahabir joined Sjiem Fat & Mahabir in 2004. He is responsible for the protection of intellectual property rights such as trademark rights in Suriname, several Caribbean Countries (also known as the CARICOM), the Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg) and other jurisdictions.
Mr. Mahabir has extensive experience on trademark legal issues including advising, registration, and renewal of trademarks and service marks.
Mr. Mahabir advises clients on strategies for protection of their trademark rights. He assists clients with both international and domestic trademark applications.
Mr. Mahabir is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and regularly attends their annual meetings.
